Matt Kacer
President
In 1994, Matt started his career in financial services at New England Financial in West Des Moines. Within a few years, he decided to open his own practice to better serve his clients. In 2016, Matt decided to move back home and open up Kacer Insurance & Financial Services. Kacer Insurance is an independent insurance practice offering all line of insurance and investment products.
Matt and his wife, Stephanie, live in Altoona along with two sons and two daughters. Matt is very involved in Altoona and the Southeast Polk Community. Matt enjoys coaching and donating his time to various organizations such as Dollars for Scholars and Best Buddies.
Sandra Howard
Office Manager
Sandra works at Kacer Insurance as the Office Manager. She is from Indianola, Iowa, where she attended college at Simpson College. At Simpson College, she graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Management and Human Resource Management. Her years of experience have led her to realize how beneficial it is to stop and listen to others. It has taught her the importance of talking with people rather than at them.
Nick Arnold
Agent
Nick started with Kacer Insurance in the fall of 2022 after spending the past three years in the insurance industry. Prior to working as an insurance agent, Nick grew up in Altoona and graduated from Southeast Polk High School. After completing college at Iowa State University, he moved back to Altoona in 2019, where his wife, Jordan, and him live now. Jordan teaches at Clay Elementary, and they have two golden retrievers, Rudy and Remy.
